All bicycle riders are invited to join the Cedar Rapids Bicycle Advisory Committee entry for the St Patrick's Day Parade in Cedar Rapids on March 17 2012

BAC, bike ambassadors, and all cyclists are invited to participate in the iGreenCR parade entry. BAC is entry #100 and will be in Staging Area E, located at 7th Street and 5th Ave. Lineup starts at 12:45 pm, and the parade starts at 1:00 pm. The entry will be lead by a Cedar Rapids fire truck, and followed by a Cedar Rapids Transit bus. Bikes will line up between the fire truck and the bus.

Bike CR: Encourages residents to bike for fun, fitness and transportation by developing safe and convenient bicycle access to all parts of the community. Just ride your bike. Decorate your bike.

SaPaDaPaSo Parade Participation Form

Parade participation suggestions and rules:

Please test your costume to make sure you are able to see and move appropriately.
All
walkers and bikers must remain BETWEEN the fire truck and city bus as
we progress through the parade route. Please use caution and give the
vehicles room.
We will be distributing litter collection kits
and other items. These items will be provided by the City and should be
distributed by walkers only. All items must be handed to the crowd –
NO THROWING
Participants must obey SaPaDaPaSo Parade Marshals at all times.
No parking is allowed along the parade route.
