Sausage Ride changes route to stop by Capital City Cross

Des Moines when: Sept 26th EVENT DETAILS The Sausage Ride hosted by the Hessen Haus / El Bait Shop will reroute this weekend's ride a bit to check out Capital City Cross, the cyclocross season opener at Mac Rae Park. This ride is in the heart of the 15 day Oktoberfest party at the Hessen Haus. Oktoberfest is a German holiday and we all know the German's love the sausage, so we thought why not have a "Sausage Ride"! Be down to the Hessen Haus at noon for a registration beer. We leave the Hessen around 1pm and head to Orlando's. After Orlando's we are heading to Mac Rae Park for the Capital City Cross. After the Cyclocross Race at Mac Rae Park we are heading to Kung Fu Tap & Taco. At 5:30pm we head back to the Hessen Haus for some polka music and 2 liter boots of Oktberfest Beer!
