Taco Ride To Celebrate 500th Ride

The popular Thursday night ride on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail known as the "Taco Ride" is celebrating its 500th ride this coming Thursday, August 14th. Described by many as the closest thing to the RAGBRAI party atmsophere, the Taco Ride is a 20-mile round trip ride from Council Bluffs to the small town of Mineola, Iowa. This summer, the ride has been averaging approximately 600 riders each week. To commemorate this special night, live music is being planned, plus some fund-raising opportunities to raise money for a rider injured earlier this summer on the Wabash Trace.
