Avid cyclists are gearing up for this year’s Register’s Annual Bike Ride Across Iowa. The 52nd annual trip will cut through eastern Iowa this summer.
The week-long journey will kick off in Orange Cty. Riders will then head through Milford, Estherville, Forest City, Iowa Falls, Cedar Falls, Oelwein, and finally end in Guttenberg.
For the first time in more than 20 years, the small town of Oelwein is preparing to host thousands of people as an overnight town for this year’s RAGBRAI.
City Administrator Dylan Mulfinger said they’re looking forward to showing off everything the city has to offer.
“I think it just gives them that first look at a community and really shows them what they can enjoy.
