One Siouxland community’s parks and recreation department received a donation Friday.
The Spencer, Iowa Parks and Recreation Department announced that it had received a donation of $25,000 from Black Hills Energy.
The donation was received to restore the West Leach Trail, located in Spencer after it was damaged by flooding, according to the department’s Facebook post.
