The 2024 RAGBRAI stop in Atlantic gave the Sunnyside Pool bottom line a boost, bringing in approximately $10,000 that day, Chelsie Rush, who helped work with Sunnyside Pool, told the Atlantic Park Advisory Commission on Wednesday.
Rush gave the commission some financial numbers from this Sunnyside Pool season, and she said while pools usually don’t make a profit, the amount of funding from the RAGBRAI stop helped with the pool’s bottom line this year.
