The 16th annual Capital City Cross will take place at George Davis Softball Park in Des Moines, bringing cyclocross enthusiasts together for an action-packed weekend.

Cyclocross combines the speed of road cycling with the rugged terrain of mountain biking, plus obstacles that challenge riders’ agility and endurance. This year’s event, hosted by BIKEIOWA Racing Team, features races for all skill levels, including juniors, women, and elites.

The George Davis Softball Park provides a perfect backdrop with its grassy infield, elevation changes, and wide-open space. The venue's challenging terrain tests riders' endurance and technical skills, offering a thrilling spectator experience. This will be the first cyclocross race to take place at this venue.

Expect a range of race categories, from juniors to elite racers, as well as a dedicated women’s field and opportunities for kids.

Expect fierce competition with racers vying for prizes such as cash and gear.
