The inaugural Cone Park Trail Fest was held at the end of June 2024 to celebrate the official opening of the newest mountain bike trails in Sioux City, Iowa.
This additional 10.5 miles of beginner to intermediate shared-use and mountain bike-optimized trails is bringing the area even closer to becoming a year-round recreation destination.
IMBA Trail Solutions finished up the design flagging for the trails concept plan in late 2022. Construction of the trails, paved pump track, tot track, two dedicated skills areas and a progressive jumpline are being lead by Rock Solid Trail Contracting, LLC., American Ramp Company and Velosolutions.
Cone Park Sioux City trails are now open seven days a week, and the best part is it's free!
