The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, better known as RAGBRAI, returns Sunday for its 51st year of river-to-river bicycling across the state.
Riders traditionally start by dipping their rear tire in the Missouri River and end their journey dipping their front tire in the Mississippi River.
Many were already about on Day Zero, hosted in Glenwood on Saturday, where people came together to gather bearings and goodies with a little entertainment before the ride.
