Police said a bicyclist was injured Friday after being hit by a car.
Hakeem M. Mahdi, 37, of Dubuque, reported knee pain but refused to be transported to a hospital.
Mahdi was traveling west on Clarke Crest Drive at its intersection with Clarke Drive at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, according to a police crash report. A vehicle driven by Melissa A. Grassel, 56, of Dubuque, failed to obey a stop sign and hit Mahdi.
Grassel was cited with failure to obey a stop sign.
