BIKEIOWA NOTE: RIP Matt - aka Mr. Pork Chop
In the early 2000s, I got to know Matt as he made frequent appearances on the Team BarFly bus for the special pitchers of "Barfly LUV" we concocted.
Then as BIKEIOWA.com began vending on RAGBRAI, we spent several Summers at the same farms along the route with Matt, the Iowa Beer Bus and Sassy Lemonade Slushes.
He was an ornery character with a special sense of humor. He never mastered the "Pork Choooooooooooop" squeal like his father Paul or his sister Audrey Lampe.
May your coals always be hot and your pork chops be moist! RIP Matt.
