A bicyclist was airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Buchanan County on Tuesday afternoon.
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office said it happened in the 1300 block of Fairbank-Amish Boulevard at around 2:10 p.m.
Deputies said the vehicle was heading southbound when it collided with the bicyclist, that was also heading southbound along the edge of the road.
Officials did not specify the bicyclist’s injures. The two people in the vehicle that hit the bicyclist were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
