It's that time of year - Jolly Holiday Lights is on its way, which means Tour de Lights is even closer! This annual walk/bike/run through Jolly Holiday Lights will happen on Sunday evening, November 18th - a special preview treat of the park before it's open to the public! Now is the time to sign up! There is a $5 registration fee per person. Just $15 more in pledges will get you a Tour de Lights t- shirt! Register today! Join us for Tour de Lights, a special one-night-only preview event that will let you walk, run, or bike your way through our winter wonderland. Choose from walk/run routes of 1.5 or 3.5 miles or bike routes of 3.5 or 14 miles. Avid bikers will enjoy the 14-mile route that starts downtown and utilizes a trail to get you to Water Works Park. There will be a small entry fee paid per person. Children under three are free. You'll also have the opportunity to raise money by getting pledges from friends, family, co-workers and neighbors for your efforts. Each participant that raises just $15 more in pledges will earn you a Tour de Lights t-shirt and other prizes. It's a great excuse to get out of the house and benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation's efforts to grant wishes to Iowa children with life-threatening medical conditions.
