The New Belgium Fat Tire Release Party will be on Saturday, Sept 8th at el Bait Shop In Des Moines! Yes - I said Sept 8th. Join the fun!

[updated Thurs Aug 30th 7:30 pm regarding Iowa/Syracuse game WILL be shown plus a $5 all you can eat buffet] The folks at New Belgium and the el Bait Shop are donating ALL food and raffle proceeds to BIKEIOWA.com! What a great way to support the site! Finally New Belgium Beer will be officially released in Iowa on September 10th.... !! But... will YOU be at the pre-Release Party on Sept 8th? TWO Days earlier a Pre-Release party will be kickin' at the bicycle-friendly el Bait Shop in Des Moines. Over 2,200 bottles of Fat Tire, Mothership Wit (organic), and 1554 will be on hand at the ONLY only place in the state to get Fat Tire Ale BEFORE the official Release.

1:00 pm - Fat Tire Fun Ride from el Bait Shop to Kelly's and Coonies on Beaver Ave.
5-5:30 pm - return to el Bait Shop from bike ride
5:00 pm - Food is served! $5 buffet - all you can eat!
7:30 pm - Drawing for New Belgium cruiser bike (must be present to win)
8pm - midnight - Mr. Baber's Neighbors and more Beer Tasting! note: the Iowa / Syracuse game will be shown in the high Lofe Lounge! $2 Old Style cans ALL DAY long at the High Life!
