BIKEIOWA is please to announce its newest 2007 sponsor – Irwin’s Bike and Sports in Johnston, IA Irwin’s is the shop for everyone from serious competitors to casual riders to kids. Our patient and professional staff will answer all your questions whether they’re about high end carbon fiber road bikes, or about entry level hybrids. We want everyone, regardless of riding ability, to have fun on a bike. Our Wednesday Night Bike Ride is our weekly event that highlights this commitment to all ages and levels. Irwin’s Bike and Sports is entering its 61st year; founded in 1946 by Wilburn Irwin, we still stock Schwinn but have added several other high quality brands, including Specialized, Felt, Redline, Catrike, Rans, and KHS. Every Wednesday at 5:30 or so we meet up and go for a ride. We have at least three different groups riding different speeds and distances. Everyone has tons of fun from hardcore road racers to grandparents, with grand children in tow, and of course everyone in between. There’s a place for everyone at Irwin’s.
