Tis the week to be in Polk City
The motto at Fenders Brewing is "Enjoy Your Ride."
We love what Jason and Steve have done with the brewery
, their beers
, and their community involvement over the past few years. From garage beers to a production bicycle-themed brewery and taproom on the square in Polk City next to Papa's Pizzeria.
Fenders is a great place to start your ride, end your ride or stop for a couple of cold ones before you head out again. Definitely keep an eye on their Twitter
accounts as they have events and activities going on all week. From bike rides to bag tournaments to trivia night, there is always something to do even if "something to do: is having a beer on their couch relaxing in the taproom.
To Jason and Steve "Enjoy Your Ride" means more than just a nice trip out on your bicycle. It's about enjoying what you are doing while you are doing it. It's about experiencing life, or "The Ride", to its fullest. It's our mission to add to your enjoyment of the ride
Situated on the east edge of Saylorville lake, and near the Tournament Club of Iowa, Jester Park, and the Neal Smith and High Trestle bike trails, Polk City sees throngs of people each year seeking outdoor activities such as boating, biking, golf and disk golf, and horseback riding, just to name a few.
