You won't want to miss Bands, Beer, Cyclocross and Racing After Dark at Mullets on Sat October 20th.

Oakley Night Cap Cross is one of Iowa's most unique races. It is a Cyclocross race that is held at night under the lights of the Des Moines skyline at Mullets, one of the most bicycle-friendly bar/restaurants along the trails.

Saturday, October 20th we will be tearin up the night with 200 racers from 6 states as they battle it out for cash and prizes while YOU watch the mayhem inches away from the tight and twisty race course! Anyone can race under the lights,but ya gotta register early to play.

And to top it off, there will be bands playing in the middle of the race course! Talk about sensory overload!

Spectating is FREE and there is plenty of room to park your bike. We'll have a beer garden with Miller Lite and New Belgium beer and food specials all night long. Last year the course was lined with hundreds of spectators!
