BIKEIOWA night at Ankeny Summerfest

On Thursday July 8th, BIKEIOWA will be hanging out at the Ankeny Summerfest Leisure Garden from 6-8 pm. BIKEIOWA and the Ankeny Jaycees have partnered and will offer bicycle parking and beverage specials for those sporting BIKEIOWA shirts. We'll have BIKEIOWA stickers, tags and other schwag to give away. The Rumbles will be that evening too. Stick around and enjoy. The poster says it all...

Routes to Ankeny from Des Moines

The Neal Smith Trail is the recommended route of choice, but it is closed and much of it is under water right now. Here are a few proven routes to Ankeny from different places in Des Moines. Note: Most of these routes are on the road. Ride at your own risk. Do not attempt if you are not an experienced cyclist. If you still want to ride to Summerfest, but don't want to ride the whole way?
