Distance - 35 optional miles

Tour de Brew QC is a 35 (optional) mile bicycle ride in the Quad Cities along the Mississippi River Trail in both Iowa and Illinois. The Inaugural ride was organized in 2014 to raise awareness and support for cancer patients and their families. Profits from last year benefitted the LIVESTRONG Foundation that gives back to our community through programs such as LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and Gilda's Club. With your support, we also gave to Camp Kesem/Augustana Chapter, sending kids that have parents with Cancer to camp for one week in the summer and helped fund S.A.M.'s (Sharing America's Marrow) journey as they traveled to 50 states swabbing Bone Marrow Donors. This year we are bringing back the LiveSTRONG Foundation & Camp Kesem/Augustana while we add a new local charity, The NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative. 

NEW THIS YEAR:

Round 3 of Tour de Brew QC will be Refreshed by Traveler Beer Company. Packet pick-up/pre-party at Bleyart's Tap Friday May 6th from 4-7. First 300 pre-registered riders receive a free stainless steel Tour de Brew QC/Traveler's pint glass & lots of great swag that you don't want to miss out on!

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No age requirement, as there will be food & non-alcoholic beverage options as well as festivities that would be fun for all ages. However, that ID might come in handy for some.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring preregistration verification to packet pick-up, Bicycle, Helmet (recommended), $$ for stops and after party raffle/silent auction

Route

THE ROUTE:

We are excited to start the tour at Rock Island Brewing Company in The District of Rock Island, Illinois, again this year....which will be opening early at 10 a.m. for Tour de Brew QC.

In collaboration with Cinco de Biko, our first stop will be The Rock Island Boat Club. Riders will be greeted by the aroma of complimentary breakfast in the air. Upon departing The Boat Club, rider's will roll across the historic Rock Island Arsenal bridge to the quaint Village of East Davenport. Brought back by popular demand is BREW, as well as a few new stops, Bootlegger's Sports Bar and Bleyart's Tap. Choose between a wide variety of brews, both coffee and craft beers, or maybe even a glass of vino.

From there riders will follow the trail along the scenic Mississippi River out to The Edge Eatery and Drinkatorium in Rapids City, Illinois. This will be our lunch stop with food/drink specials and MUSIC!

The next stop will be Bass Street Landing where both Steel Head Tavern & Pub 1848 have big plans for you, tour participants can gather on the plaza of Bass Street Landing from 1-5 for Tour de Brew QC for LIVE music, games & festivities.

Well, we are just getting started! The after ride party will greet you as Tour de Brew QC takes over the District. At RIBCO there will be all day festivities, including special beer tappings, raffles & silent auction at 6 pm, karaoke and if you hang around long enough...LIVE MUSIC!!! Come early, stay late...you don't want to miss out!

Did we forget to mention that each destination on the tour will have a special raffle basket of BREW SWAG, you will receive those raffle entries in your registration packet, to disperse at each location throughout the day.
