The Mississippi Valley Bike Over Labor Day (BOLD) Tour is the brain child of Dubuque native bike enthusiasts hoping to organize a charity bike tour in the Tri-State area to engage & inspire local biking communities and have way too much fun over Labor Day Weekend.
Friday, Aug 29th:
Early Registration – The Lift 180 Main St. Dubuque, IA 52001
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Registration fee will be $45 for all 3 days or $20 per
day. Remember, all proceeds will be
donated to local charities.
Saturday, Aug 30th
Morning Registration – 7:00am – 10:00am.
Meeting Place: Parking Lot across from the main gates at the
Dubuque Co. Fairgrounds
The trailer needs to be loaded with all of your gear by
10:00am
Camping: Council Hill Station – Food, Beverages, Camp Fire,
Live Music, porta potties and Showers will be available on site
Sunday, Aug 31st
Camping: Codfish Hollow Barnstormers – This will be a
primitive camp site with no running water or electricity. The only way to get here is on gravel. We will have a shuttle available to take
people to the camp site. Porta-potties
will be available on site. Maquoketa is
a short ride past the turnoff to Codfish Hollow. This may be an option for riders who want to
get a hotel room or grab a meal in town.
Monday, Sept 1st:
Shuttles will be available to take riders back out over the
gravel roads.
End at the start point at Dubuque Co. Fairgrounds
An enclosed trailer will be available to transport your
equipment from site to site.
Bring Cash, some of the places we stop won’t accept checks
or credit cards.
The Route will be marked on the pavement. As well as on sign
posts at each turn.
