Distance - To be determined

Volunteers will help in a trail clean-up of the High Trestle Trail. We'll be cleaning the trail from Slater to the Oasis (Gazabo). Two Meeting Spots
  1. 10 am at River Place (former Target store on Euclid on west side of DM River) in Des Moines. We will try an car-pool and are working on a bus shuttle
  2. 11 am at Slater Trail-head in Grimm Park, 4th Ave. & Greene St. in Slater
If you can help, bring yourself, work gloves, refreshments, and snacks. Garbage bags provided

Route

Plan on either walking or biking. We'll assign portions of the trail once we see how many volunteers show up. First Impressions count, and clean trail is always noticed! We THANK YOU in advance for volunteering! About the Grand Celebration
