Party Ride
Distance - 30 miles or so
A little slice of RAGBRAI.This has always been
a great ride and one great weekend
combo.Buses will be available for roundtrips
from Des Moines to Vinton to Iowa City and
back.There are a couple of great little bars
and very light traffic.
Route
The route will be from Vinton to Garrison's
Hitchin' Post to Dysart's Bottom's Up And back.We will
use E66 south of Vinton.VERY light traffic.Also
available will be The Old
Creamery Nature Trail.It is a "rails to trails"route that
runs
by all the bars.This trail has seen great improvement
but you should use a mountain or hybrid bike.Maps will
be available day of ride.
