The ride is a fund raiser for the White Pole Road Development Corporation and the Roundhouse committee. It is set up as a pre ragbrai ride to get in shape and enjoy the small communities of Dexter, Stuart, Menlo, Casey and Adair. Event starts with breakfast, included in registration fee, in the newly remodeled historical Dexter Roundhouse served from 7-9 a.m. Sites along the way include the Bonnie & Clyde shot out north of Dexter, 1948 National Plowing Championship site, newly restored Catholic church community center in Stuart, restored gas station man in Menlo, Casey antique stores, Adair flag display on main street and site of the first robbery of a moving train by the Jesse James gang just west of Adair. Lunch can be purchased in Adair at the city park from the Lions Club of Adair.

Route

Route is from Dexter to Adair and back and is part of the original White Pole Road, old Hwy 6, the original river to river road from Davenport to Council Bluffs, dsignated in 1910 as the "Great White Way", because the poles were painted white, as they are again today, to help travelers stay on the route.
