Just Plain Fun
Distance - 20 miles
This is the first (annual) Morse Community Club ride to West Branch. We hope to make this a yearly event to bring people to our unique town. The Community Club will be having a chicken barbecue after the ride for a small fee. Proceeds help maintain the club. We serve bottled beer for $2.00 and currently have Boulevard Pale Ale on tap for $1.50/ glass. West Branch also has many fine bars and restaurants.
Route
East out of Morse on F8W to X30 south to West Branch. Appx. 10 miles each way. The route may be extended with a wrong turn or two to the Cedar River and the fishing village of Cedar Bluff. There is also the Herbert Hoover Nature trail that runs from WB to Oasis and then the unimproved section that runs all the way to Morse so if your thing is mud and weed, this is the route for you.
