Road

Distance - +/- 113 miles, mostly flat

3rd annual Melon City Bike Club century ride. One sag stop supported by MCBC. There are several towns en route with convenience stores/restaurants.

Route

Start in Muscatine, cross Miss. River bridge into Illinois. Follow the national river road to Burlington (via Keithsburg, Oquawka, and Gladstone), cross back to Iowa side. Go north on Hwy 99 towards Oakville. 1 mile east of Wapello, turn right on I Ave/G62 for 3 miles. Left on county road X-61 (left at Schafer Barn-this will be the national river road on the Iowa saide of river). MCBC sag stop will be about 1.5 miles from this point. Continue on X-61 to Muscatine and the starting point at Harper's Cycling.

Venue

Riders will meet at Harper's Cycling between 6:00 and 7:00 AM. Start when you want & ride at your own pace.
