Just Plain Fun

Distance - 36 miles roundtrip

We held this ride two years ago, and had 45 riders attend the ride. After many requests we decided to have this ride again this year hoping to have twice as many people and twice as much fun!We shortened the ride up by 8 miles, so this years ride will be 36 miles round trip. We will meet at Rob's house between 10 and 11:00, for a free keg of beer. The ride will go from Rob's house to Bailey's Ford Park by Manchester, stopping for more free beer and a bratt fry, and then returning to Rob's house to finish the keg and sit by the bonfire and listen to music and talk about how fun the ride was. We have plenty of room for overnight camping, so bring your tents or rv's.

Route

Starting at Rob's house, the ride will head west on D-47 for 6 miles into Buckreek where you can visit Buckreek's only log cabin. After reaching Buckreek, the ride will head north for 6 miles passing the Delhi damn.(you'll need granny gear for sure after passing the Delhi damn.)Once reaching Delhi, you can either stop in town for a beverage at two different taverns or keep going north through Delhi to the County Home Rd. (going past the Penn Center)6 miles to Bailey's Ford Park,where you can pet the animals or visit the wildlife exibit. The whole route will be marked out with easy to read signs.

We would like to have people there between 10 and 11:00 so we can all leave at one time.
