Duck Race Story Past Champion This is not see how fast plastic floats. THIS IS A REAL DUCK RACE and it takes skill. You are racing actual ducks after hours of drinking. You better bring your A game. We have seen many coaches have a lack in judgement and let their ducks run back between their legs. The ducks, which could have continued their career as racers, are now Easter Diner material and their coaches normally find their way to the bar to forget about this reality.

Route

Somehow find your way to Avoca, NE. To catch a ride with Team B.A.R.T. from Omaha contact Todd Feldman. Rumors abound about other teams as well: Puckers will likely be leaving from Mo Valley and passing through C. Bluffs, Shenanigans likely leaving from Shenendoah (if you are real nice to them they may have an old Monica Blue Bill shirt for you to wear).

Registration

If you chose to ride with Team B.A.R.T. pre-registration is required and you need to contact the Quack-off jedi duck master baiter Todd Feldman. Otherwise just show up in Avoca, NE that morning and go to town hall to register for race. Then head up to the bar to develop your race strategy. There are normally about 130 entrants. Each heat has 4 racers with top two advancing in early heats and top 1 in later heats. It is a good idea to bring a collapsable cardboard box to keep your duck between heats in if you have lofty goals of winning several rounds. Holding onto your duck between rounds severely cuts into your drinking time, especially if you have a duck that gets away from you and hides under cars.
