Description

Family oriented

Distance - 5k run, 5k, 10k and 20k ride (3.1, 6.2 and 12.4 miles)

A recurring monthly event held on the second Saturday of every month to raise awareness of the Grinnell Area Recreational Trail. Choose between a 5k run/walk (timed) and a 5k, 10k or 20k bike ride (untimed - helmets required).

Route

All events take place on the Grinnell Area Recreational Trail, a 6 mile hard surface trail running between the city of Grinnell and Rock Creek State Park. 5k run is out and back, mostly flat with two 90 degree turns and a 180 at the turn-around. 5k ride is the same course. 10k and 20k rides turn around farther out on the trail and take in some hills.
