Just Plain Fun

Distance - 14.7-24.9 miles

This is an event for all experience levels. It is organized in conjunction with "Bike to Work Week" to give participating communities a chance to get out on their bike for a Sunday afternoon ride. There will be prize drawings, picnic lunch, and a silent memorial ride at Geode State Park after the Fleche. Mark Wyatt, director of the Iowa Bicycle Coalition, will be attending to discuss cycleing issues and developments in the state.

Route

The event will begin in three different locations: Burlington, Fort Madison, and Mount Pleasant. Groups leaving from these towns will travel to Geode State Park (Sheleter #4), located southwest of Danville, IA.

Registration

Please register Sunday afternoon at your selected starting location. The ride will leave approximately at 12:30, so arrive early enough to give yourself time to register.
