The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will be holding the third Citizen Transportation Congress on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Roosevelt High School Library. The Des Moines Area MPO wants to hear from the public - to hear your views on transportation issues in the Des Moines metropolitan area. The Citizen Transportation Congress does not focus on one particular topic; rather it is a forum for the discussion of general transportation issues. The public is invited to bring questions and comments to the Citizen Transportation Congress. The Des Moines Area MPO staff will receive from the public their concerns and will relay those comments to the appropriate officials, committees and/or agencies.
