Road

Distance - 30 miles roundtrip (if you go the whole distance)

Join us on Wednesday nights for a no-drop ride from the Marshalltown Y trailhead.

We will follow the trail down to Melbourne, view the lovely water tower and head back north.

If you are not into the full length, its easy to turn around and head home.

If you want more of a challenge, go off the front and we will find you on the way back.

We are easy going and welcoming.  

We roll out at 5:35 every Wednesday starting March 26th.

Route

Meet at the Marshalltown YMCA and we will ride the Marshalltown Trail together.

Regroup spots are after large hills (e.g. Highland Acres, Hwy 30 rollers, Goose Poop Hill)

The Melbourne Water Tower is the goal.  I will usually take the Melbourne roads back to Hart Ave.

Then back the way we came.  Maybe a side quest to Westwood Drive for the hills at the end.

Free!  Make sure to bring a snack for the road.
