Race is held late in the summer so water levels should be lower and wet feet should feel nice on a hot day. Be prepared for the unexpected in the outlands.
Pre-Ride
Please do not ride the race course prior to event day as it includes private property! An almost identical pre-race day route will be available. There are cameras and anyone seen on private property ahead of race day won't be allowed to race. We ask that you respect the land owners to make sure we can continue to host this race on a fun and unique course. Also please be aware that people aren't used to seeing bikes in many of these areas so please ride right and follow all road rules. Riding is allowed on the horse trails but again they aren't used to seeing cyclist so please be courteous.
