Come join us for the first IGP Weekly gravel ride of the year!
This is a great group ride to check out whether you are an experienced gravel racer to someone that's just looking to dip their toe in the water to see what all the buzz is about! This will be our 4th year running this weekly ride. It is meant to be a social ride, not one that is looking to rip your legs off. To that point, we have always had two different distances, each with their own pace. This year we will be joining forces with our local chapter of the All Bodies on Bikes organization and offering a bit shorter third distance. These will be REGROUPING rides, where we will stop and wait for the rest of the group to catch up if anyone has fallen behind.
With this being a social ride, we also like to have a place nearby to gather for those that want to hang out after the ride. Usually, it is a place that has not only drinks but food so everyone can be involved. We generally have a large portion of the group stick around each week!
Long Route 28-33 miles 15-17 mph ave pace
Short Route 18-21 miles 10-13 mph ave pace
ABOB Route 9-11 miles Pace TBD weekly by participants
It's early in the season for many of us still. These routes based out of Bondurant will ease you back into things with a fairly flat mixed surface ride. This starts from the Chichaqua Valley Trailhead on NE 88th St, just to the East of Bondurant.
