Join us for the 2nd annual Wabash Open ride & fundraiser on the Wabash Trace
All proceeds toward the improvement of the Wabash Trace!
Welcome back! We are excited to announce the 2nd annual Wabash Open for 2023. The inaugural Wabash Open was a huge success and fun was had by all. The funds raised by the event last year purchased new picnic tables and trash cans at Margaritaville on the Wabash Trace. We hope to do even more this year!
The Wabash Open 2 combines cycling on the area’s best trail with a fun-filled miniature golf team tournament. Our generous sponsors are building 19 creative and fun putt-putt golf holes that will be stationed along the Wabash Trace from the Council Bluffs trailhead to Mineola. Teams will ride and test their miniature golf skills as they compete for fun prizes. The event will conclude at Toby Jack's Steak House where winners and prizes will be announced.
19 Holes of Putt-Putt Riding the Wabash
Ride cost is $100 for teams of 2-4 people (price increases to $140 after June 1st)
This year all scores will be tallied at Toby Jack’s when you arrive. Participants can putt-putt on Toby Jack’s 19th bonus hole for a 50/50 raffle competition as scores are tallied and winners announced (the bonus hole will not contribute to tournament score).

Modified Shot-Gun Start
• All riders will start at their designated holes at 11am.
• #1 though #12 will be the starting holes on the front side of the trail (CB trail head to Margaritaville).
• Teams will proceed in descending order until hole #1, then finish the course in ascending order.
• Teams are encouraged to skip holes that are congested and come back to them at their discretion.
• We are encouraging the hole sponsors to have a maximum stroke count to keep things moving.
• Team starting hole assignment will be based on riding level.
• This year the back 6 holes will begin at 1pm. If you finish the front holes early, feel free to hang out at Margaritaville for lunch and have a drink.
Lunch is generously being provided at Margaritaville by our sponsors for free will donations.
Iowa Beer Bus?????
This year we plan to have a few portable toilets and water stations at a couple places along the course for the participants. (In addition to the ones at Margaritaville)
All sponsors will have free water for the participants.
Toby Jack's 19th bonus hole will be a 50/50 raffle putt-putt competition.
