Tour

Distance - 440 miles

The Tour des Trees is an annual fundraising event for the Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund). This year's ride will take place in Iowa, starting in Des Moines and ending in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Riders have the ability to ride 1-6 days; full time riders will ride roughly 440 miles total.

Event is fully supported with hotels, meals, and SAG support provided. Riders will receive bike jerseys, teeshirt, water bottles, KASK helmet, and goodie bag. 

Registration is only $100 but there is a fundraising component. Funds are being raised for the TREE Fund which provides grants and scholarships towards arboricultural and tree care research. This is also an outreach event with several optional stops and activities where we reach out to local communities and talk about proper tree care. 

Route

Des Moines to Pella to Ames to Des Moines to Creston to Nebraska City (with a Nebraska City loop to finish).
