Jingle GX Gravel Race

Ride both days of gravel, get a $10 discount on the second event, and stay for your free admission to the UCI Cyclocross World Cup in Iowa City

1. Saturday Oct 16: The Jingle GX Gravel Race is an all new, all out 100 km gravel race through scenic Amish country. This is a self sufficient race. While there are no team cars or in-ride team support, we have neutral support with three mechanic/rest stops spaced about 25 km apart where you can get mechanical assistance, water, drinks, or refuel with food. Top finishers from each category win prizes and swag. Stay after the race and watch the C2 UCI men's, women's and juniors events. First beer after your ride is on us.

2. Sunday Oct 17: This is a leisurely paced 75 km recreational bike ride sponsored by SHIMANO just hours before our UCI World Cup.  We start at the World Cup venue, the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City and head south to the Kalona Brewing Company. Enjoy a complimentary beer from our friends at Kalona Brewing Company and get your first poker playing cards. Then travel through Amish country to your next stop at Big Grove Brewery, another complimentary beer, and more poker cards before you head back to the Johnson County Fairgrounds and the UCI World Cup. Get your last playing card at the fairgrounds and have another complimentary beer on us as you relax listening to bands, DJs, and our local food vendors. Turn in your playing cards for some cool swag! Then enjoy the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup with the best cyclists in the world all racing in Iowa City. (AGE 21 AND OVER WITH STATE OR GOVERNMENT APPROVED ID REQUIRED AT EACH STOP FOR BEVERAGES). Concept created by Dave Nerad of Active Endeavors.
