FORC (Friends of Off-Road Cycling) presents the 12^th running of the Sylvan Island Stampede! What makes this race different from most mountain bike races??? Riders will experience closely spaced, tight, and twisty island mountain bike trails. There will not only be rocks and roots but in reflection of the islands industrial history there is  concrete rubble, bricks, old building foundations, and slag debris throughout the Sylvan Island trails.

The Sylvan Island Stampede XII opens both the 2021 Illinois Homegrown Race Series and the Iowa Mountain Bike Championship Series.

All proceeds from this event benefit FORC and will be used to purchase materials and tools needed to maintain and improve the 8 local off-road bike trails in the Quad Cities Area.

To keep everyone safe and minimize contact we will only be doing pre-registration thru BikeReg ($25).

REGISTER ONLINE

There will be no on-site registration number pick up opens at 7:30 am and closes 45 minutes before each race begins. Online registration closes Thursday April 10^th at 5:00 PM CST.
