Distance - 22 / 44 miles

The Crushed Rock Classic is a multi-surface bike race, held on a NEW 22  mile circuit in Ames, IA with a little bit of everything. The race include sections of crushed rock, pavement, and prairie trail. The terrain is undulating with several short, steep climbs per lap.

This year's addition has some changes with COVID 19 concerns.

• Time Trial Start Format (30 sec intervals)
• Pre-Registration Only
• Longer laps (22 miles)
• Start and Finish directly in front of the Sunny Heights Farm

The Ridley  Race Campus at Sunny Heights features picturesque views and is the perfect place to hang out, and enjoy the entire afternoon.   We will be asking everyone to practice social distancing and wearing masks when not competing. 

Route

• 22 mile circuit with 1 or 2 laps depending on category
• Lots of undulating terrain in and out of the South Skunk River valley
