After much debate, lengthy discussions and much research it is with a heavy heart that the Tour de Brew Crew has agreed the best decision is to cancel the 2020 ride, and pick it back up again in 2021. back up again in 2021. With so many unknowns regarding COVID-19, we felt it would be better to wait until this pandemic was over, rather than move the date and then have to move the date again as no one right now can tell us how long we will have to social distance and in many areas shelter in place. Tour de Brew QC is all about coming together with the common goal to help organizations that get people back to living after a cancer diagnosis. If you were registered you have received an e-mail by now.
Livestrong at the Y, Camp Kesem at Augustana and Children’s Cancer Connection are the beneficiaries of our event. These organizations are all dependent on grass roots fundraising efforts as a large portion of their operating capital. We are working on ways to continue to help these groups during these challenging times.
In addition we hope when the closures of bars and restaurants is lifted you will head out to these great locations and continue to support them as they have supported Tour de Brew QC!
