LET'S JOURNEY!

Join us for a three-day excursion that includes scenic Driftless area views and an active biking experience nestled beside the beautiful Mississippi River, on the Great River Road. This weekend tour allows you to ride through some of the most beautiful landscapes that Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa have to offer, and it doesn’t end there. You’ll bike and enjoy beer tastings, local community charm, and great food each day.

Each day we’ll explore on roads, bike paths, and trails at a casual pace. You’ll get unbelievable views of the Mississippi River using the freedom of bicycles to explore. All of our tour guides possess threefold expertise in beer, cycling, and local insight. At the end of each afternoon, you will be welcomed back to Potosi Brewing Company for an evening of celebration including local food, music, games, competition and of course great Craft Beer.

Route

Day 1 Friday, September 6, 2019

We’ll begin each day starting our craft beer bike tour at the Potosi Brewing Company facilities. We’ll bike the Great River Road for a 34-mile ride will take us to Galena, IL. Then we’ll loop back and end our day at the Potosi Brewing Company facilities where you can enjoy Live Music, Food, and of course some Potosi Craft Brews!

Day 2 Saturday, September 7, 2019

Today we ride in the countryside, which will include scenic and varied terrain. The ride will consist of a 28-mile ride to Dubuque, IA. We’ll again end our second-day ride at Potosi Brewing Company facilities where you can enjoy Live Music, Food, and Craft Brews!

Day 3 Sunday, September 8, 2019

On our final day, we’ll experience the rolling hills with a trip to Vesperman Farms. We’ll ride from Potosi Brewing Company’s facility 11 miles to Vesperman Farms located in Lancaster, WI. We’ll enjoy cycling through the rolling hills and backcountry to our last excursion a 5th generation family owned 118-year-old farm. Vesperman farms are best known for their delicious food, games, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and other fun activities. We’ll cap off the Tour de Pints event back at Potosi Brewing Company facilities. You have a choice of a short or long distance route for the return ride. For riders choosing the short distance, you'll ride 11-miles back to the production facility. For riders looking to enjoy the long-distance route, this will include a 25-mile return loop back to Potosi Brewing Company facility.

This Tour de Pints event will help you quickly realize why this local region has thriving local breweries, with spectacular scenic views. It’s a destination worth experiencing on a bike.
