If you've ever wanted to try yoga or simply haven't been able to fit it in, this is the class for you!!

Yoga, stretching, and strengthening are essentials for any cyclist wishing to improve flexibility and strength on and off the bike. The practice also helps correct imbalances that cycling imposes on the body. Yoga for Bicyclists will be held in the fitness studio adjacent to the Bike Library and will be taught by cyclist and yoga instructor Michelle Barker. There will be two sessions at 4 and 5:30 pm; classes are free although attendees have the option to make a free will donation to the Bike Library. Each class can hold 20 participants.

About the instructor: Michelle helps nonprofits and businesses develop strategy and create community. She works as educator of many things, presently teaching English and yoga. She just can't stay away from the cycling industry and can be found working in a local bike shop or leading rides and bike clinics. If she's not out riding one of her bikes, practicing yoga, or traveling, she can be found with her nose in a book or creating something wonderful.
