On May 18, the Ride of Silence will roll across the country, starting at 7:00 PM. In more than 50 cities in the U.S. and Canada, cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.
Chris Phelan organized the first Ride Of Silence in Dallas last May after endurance cyclist Larry Schwartz was hit by the mirror of a passing bus and was killed.

a. Leave Wal-Mart Parking Area
b. Head South on 15th Street
c. Take 15th Street to Hogantown Drive
d. Hogantown Drive to Lewis & Clark Road
e. Turn Left on Lewis & Clark Road
f. Take Lewis & Clark to 25th Street
g. Turn Left on 25th Street and head South
h. Cross Highway 370 and continue on to Capehart Road
i. Turn Left on Capehart Road and head East to Fort Crook Road
j. Head North on Fort Crook Road to Cornhusker Road
k. Turn Left on Cornhusker Road
l. Head West on Cornhusker Road to 15th Street
