We are planning an Alley Cat ride through all of the alley ways in Valley Junction on October 28th. The ride is 20 miles long with about 50% of it paved and the rest is gravel. Some of the alleys are a little rough so a Fat, Mountain or Cyclocross bike is best, but we ride it on touring bikes all the time. It winds through the Junction then moves on through a couple city parks as well as a cemetery and ends back where you started. Please feel free to stop and patronize any of the fine establishments along the way to keep "Hydrated". There will be 3 places where there will be hidden prizes for those who can follow the treasure map clues we will be posting on our facebook page.
We ask that you where a helmet, of course, and that you PLEASE STOP at all intersections. The ride is mostly trail but there is a small amount of urban road riding. There will be a FREE chili supper afterwards. Have fun and wearing a costume is always welcome.
