This is a ride in memory of Mindy Bruellman who was killed at the age of 17 in a automobile accident along side her boyfriend, Chris Gearhart, in 2008. We started Mindy's Miles Bike Ride in 2009, which takes place in West Bend and travels to Whittemore (approx 20 miles), Ottosen (approx 30 miles) & Bode (approx 45 miles). This is a ride for all riding abilities and you can ride as far as you would like. We have a shuttle bus that will bring you back to West Bend when you are finished riding. There are many stops along the way to have a beverage or grab a snack. Once you are back in West Bend there is a BBQ at the West Bend Fire Station along with a beverage garden and music by FarmRock.
There is also a free kids ride that takes place and is put on by the local 4-H club. They help the kids decorate their bikes, they then will travel down to the high school where they will ride bikes, play games, and enjoy inflatables. They will then bring the kids back to the Fire Station where the parents can pick them up.
