New Harmony will serve as the site for the annual Harmonie Hundred bicycle weekend. April 30 and May 1 2005, the town of the New Harmony well come alive with hundreds of bicycles enthusiasts and families, who have come to enjoy southrn Indiana hospitality at its best and to help raise funds for the New Harmony High school Washington DC trip. Each day will offer an enjoyable 50 mile and a 27 mile ride through the scenic roadways of posey and gibson counties. On Sunday there are 50,30 and 16 milers which include a tour of Harmonie State Park. Registration fees for either or both days include lunch or brunch snacks along the way. T-shirts are available on a limited basis, unless ordered in advance.
