The 2nd Annual LAGSRIDE is a 21-mile poker ride on the Waverly Rail Trail to benefit Self-Help International. Starting at the Dirty Dog, riders will build a poker hand at 5 stops along the route to Denver (and back). Adventurous cyclists are encouraged to ride the Readlyn Challenge Loop too. The best poker hand wins a custom-fit bike from Europa!
Based in Waverly, Self-Help International provides long-term development solutions to help families, especially women and children, escape poverty through agricultural, health and micro-credit programs in Nicaragua and Ghana. LAGSRIDE honors the memory of Dave "Lags" Lageschulte, Hooters Franchise owner, Waverly native and long-time supporter of Self-Help.
