Ride 4 Youth is a charity bike ride through the Corridor with starting locations in both Coralville and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. All proceeds for this event benefit United Action for Youth (UAY) in Iowa City and Waypoint in Cedar Rapids, two local non-profits that provide counseling and support services for kids, their families and youth victims of crime. Last year, over 250 bicyclists participated in Ride 4 Youth to support young people and their families. All Ride 4 Youth participants receive lunch and a free t-shirt. Rest stops provide snacks and beverages along each of the routes.
Ride 4 Youth cyclists are also invited to sign up to become a SuperStar! SuperStars agree to raise $250 to support youth programs and services and in exchange receive discounted registration and a free cycling jersey. SuperStars are also entered into a raffle to win a free bike donated by World of Bikes in Iowa City.
