The Women with Wreches is an extension of World of Bikes in Iowa City We are a lady-led group offering LADIES-ONLY clinics to get you riding bikes and into your local bicycling community. We hope to be your resource in Iowa for all things about the bicycle. Sharing knowledge at every level for every type of rider is our goal.
The basic maintenance clinic will take you all around your bike. Do you want to learn how to clean it, or adjust the seat height? We will cover how to do a safety check, basic day-to-day maintenance, how to clean and lube the bicycle, plus tips on how to prevent problems. Feel free to bring any tools or small bike accessories you may have questions about, plus an open mind!
Bringing your own bike is not necessary. There will be lots of hands on action and an open forum of discussion. Taking our flat clinic before hand is not required, but is helpful.
Each maintenance clinic will cover the same info, with slight changes for seasons.
The fee will ensure a spot is reserved for you and some special tools to take home! 20% off all other purchases during the clinic.
