The Women with Wrenches is an extension of World of Bikes in Iowa City. We are a lady-led group offering ladies-only clinics to get more ladies riding bikes and into their bicycling communities. We hope to be your resource in Iowa for all things about the bicycle. Sharing knowledge at every level for every type of rider is our goal.
The flat tire clinic will lead you step-by-step through fixing a flat bicycle tire. You will learn what gear is needed, how to fix a flat, and how to prevent flats. After a quick demonstration you will have a chance to change a flat tire in a bike shop with instruction. All you need to bring to the clinic is yourself and an open mind, if you have any tools or if you would like to bring your own bicycle feel free, there is plenty of room! You will leave this clinic with all the information you need to change a flat tire!
The $15 fee will insure a spot is reserved, a set of tire levers, and you will receive 20% off any other purchases during the clinic.
