On Our Radar

HAPPY NEW YEAR

BIKEIOWA is kicking off 2025 with a celebration of 23 incredible years as Iowa’s trusted cycling hub! Since our humble beginnings as a simple event listing site, we've grown alongside the cycling community, navigating the twists and turns of a rapidly evolving world. Reflecting on 2024, we’re reminded of the resilience, camaraderie, and passion that make Iowa’s cycling scene so special.

Reflecting on 2024: The Year in Review

This year, we brought back the in-depth "2024 - BIKEIOWA Year in Review" to capture the essence of Iowa cycling in 2024. Introducing the Shiny and Rusty Awards, we take a closer look at the year's brightest highlights and toughest challenges. From trailblazing new openings to lessons learned through event hurdles, these defining moments continue to shape our journey forward.

Iowa Bike Expo

Join us at the Iowa Bike Expo on January 25th at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines! This fantastic event features 110+ vendors from across the state, and we’ll be right in the action. Look for us running the main stage programming all day, chatting about all things Iowa cycling, and showcasing our BIKEIOWA Gear at our 10x20 booth. Plus, don’t miss our dedicated booth for Pogie Lites and the BANDito Sling. See you there!

Early Bird Alert: Add Your 2025 Events Now!

The new year is here, and it’s time to start planning your weekends for 2025! If you’re hosting an event this year, now’s the perfect time to get it listed on the BIKEIOWA calendar. Posting your event early increases visibility and helps others save the date.

You can easily post and manage your own events, editing details as they become available. Don’t have all the info yet? No problem—get your event on the calendar now to reserve the date.

If your event was on the calendar last year, save time by cloning it! Just visit the event page, click the “clone” button, or find it in your dashboard event list. And remember, our calendar also supports weekly recurring rides and events.

Start now and give your event the spotlight it deserves!

Here’s to another year of pedaling progress together. Let’s make 2025 unforgettable!

Thanks for using BikeIowa
Ride Safe!
